Is your website mobile friendly?
Is your website mobile friendly?
In an unusual move for the search engine (in all their years of business, Google have never before given prior warning before changing their algorithms) Google have announced that beginning on the 21st of April 2015, with a seven day rollout ending on the 28th April 2015, any website not showing as ‘mobile friendly‘ will cease to appear on mobile based Google searches.
How will it affect me?
With surveys showing that more people are using mobile phones to browse the internet at least over 50% of Google searches are carried out on a mobile device, and this will only increase as time goes on.
So it is now critical that your website appears in the correct way on a mobile device. Not only must it be readable but also look attractive while not losing its appeal for the end user.
